ABOUT ME
I’m Sherry and I love to style spaces. 18 years ago, before I started styling spaces, I worked as a professional photographer in Boca Raton Florida specializing in wedding, newborn, family and high school senior photography. My favorite subject to shoot is always my daughter Tessa, but then the unthinkable happened, she grew up and left for college (go Gators)! I suddenly was an empty nester with a need for change. Photographing clients who became friends, continues to be extremely rewarding but an additional creative calling was stirring within me. With little hesitation, and loads of encouragement from family and friends, I decided to pursue my other creative passion, interior styling.
For as long as I can remember, I've loved to create beautiful spaces. Growing up, I lived in many different countries, from tropical islands in southeast Asia to the cobblestone streets of Italy. I experienced how different cultures lived. I absorbed the aesthetics. I learned design from seeing and experiencing it first hand in these culturally diverse places. My attention to detail came about in a very natural, authentic way (of course being right brained had a lot to do with it). As with photography, I instinctively know that to create a beautiful portrait I need the right light, the right angle, and the right focus. Styling a room is no different, it requires that same attention to detail and thoughtful process. When done passionately, all the details come together to create a beautiful space.
